Reverse Mortgage Advisor
Location: Auburn, CA
Job Description:


Responsibilities:
  • Originate one reverse mortgage per week.
  • Return all phone calls (client and partner) within a timely manner.
  • Meet with clients as required.
  • Oversight and accountability for all aspects of the loan process including but not limited to: client documentation, appraisal, title report, Lender submission guidelines, and loan funding.
  • Consistent knowledge of all reverse mortgage programs and guidelines.
  • Consistent knowledge of FHA requirements and guidelines.
  • Attend all required product training.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years professional sales experience
  • Proven, successful track record of exceeding a sales quota
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in computer usage necessary to obtain relevant information on loan programs

Broker Requirements

Broker Compensation

Broker Compensation is a maximum of 25% of the total origination fee. 

Total origination fee is capped by HUD at 2% of the lesser of the appraisal value or the FHA maximum loan amount in the county where the property is located.

Example - home value of $300,000 has an origination fee of $6,000. Broker earns $1,500.

*Broker compensation check will be cut out of escrow and will be sent overnight to Advisor.
